What we hold, why, and for how long.
We do not sell anything about you
There are no ads here, no vendor marketplace, and no affiliate arrangements. No vendor pays to appear in your comparisons, and your guest list is never shared with anyone, including the vendors you are talking to.
What we hold
- Your name and email address, and the accounts you sign in with.
- What you enter about your wedding: vendors, quotes, budgets, availability, guests, seating and your site.
- Emails you forward to your wedding’s address, and the files attached to them, so we can read the figures out of them.
- Replies your guests send through their RSVP links: who is coming to what, meal choices, and anything they tell you about allergies or access.
Who can see it
Only the people you invite into your wedding. Every screen in this app reads through per-row access rules in the database, so one couple’s data cannot be returned to another’s account.
Our support staff have no standing access to your wedding. If you need help with something only visible inside your account, you grant access explicitly, it expires on its own, and it never extends to managing your members or deleting your wedding.
What we delete, and when
The raw material — the emails vendors send you and the files attached to them — is deleted on a schedule your wedding’s settings show you. What was read out of those documents stays: a quote’s line items, and the sentence a venue wrote about a date, keep working after the file behind them is gone.
Deleting your wedding removes everything immediately and we keep no copy. Deleting your account erases your name, email address and avatar, and your access to every wedding you belong to; things you wrote stay attributed to “Deleted user” so the record of who decided what does not develop holes.
Getting your data out
Every wedding has an export in its data settings, and the guest list exports to a spreadsheet on its own screen. You do not need to ask us.
